Time to celebrate? We've now officially crossed the threshold of becoming game developers, so I'm going to take this moment to ruminate on the making of Fungy Floss.
The process was arduous, as was expected, but we made it through. Fungy Floss may not be the best game ever made, and as a product it has very little to offer (that's why it's free!), but I'm still happy with how it turned out. We achieved our goal of making a game from start to finish, and now our skillset is honed to a point where we have the confidence to start working on a "real" game.
That's not all, though! We learned much while making Fungy Floss (that was the point), and we're going to share our experience with you on YouTube later this year. We really started from almost nothing, so we hope it'll be at least entertaining. Who knows, maybe some more experienced game devs will drop by to chime in and share their expertise, too.
The course is set. Let's see if we can catch the horizon.
